Fire-retardant paint for varnishing wooden elements

At Mega Overflade-teknik ApS in Sønder Felding, we have for 26 years painted wooden elements with fire-retardant paint for our customers throughout the country.

When we carry out fire-resistant varnishing, it is done with a specific type of varnish that must prevent fire in e.g. moldings and other woodwork.

The fire-retardant paint we use for fire varnishing is certified.

Great expertise in painting with fire-retardant paint

Lacquering with fire-resistant lacquering takes place in a special process that cannot be compared to normal wood lacquering.

The wood is varnished several times on all sides with the fire-retardant paint to achieve the correct layer thickness, and finally the moldings are varnished with a special top coat that makes the moldings ready for handling.

With our fire varnishing, you ensure that the moldings and other wooden elements that are put up on walls and other surfaces comply with the latest requirements for fire safety.

The fire-retardant paint we treat the wood with is available as a clear varnish, or with added color according to your wishes and needs.

Fire-retardant paint is typically used on moldings in ash, oak or birch, but can also be used on pine.
